GEM Vending appoints PR agent Integra Communications

East Midlands-based snacks and drinks vending specialist GEM Vending has appointed Integra Communications Ltd to handle the company’s regional and UK-wide public relations and media communications from June 2014.  Account Director Louise Third will work alongside the senior management team as the company seeks to grow by expanding its product range and client reach.

Based in Langley Mill between Derby, Nottingham and Leicester, GEM Vending is an independently-owned supplier of vending services to private and public sector organizations across the greater East Midlands as far afield as Coventry and Sheffield. With a turnover of over £5.5 million, the company is looking to win a higher proportion of the current market, and to convert more small and medium sized companies to the value of providing snacks, cold drinks and hot drinks to their workforce and visitors. With over 40 years experience in the industry, the company  is often asked to test new machines, provide feedback to the manufacturers, and advise on potential improvements.

Integra Communications has been selected for its strong business-to-business PR reputation and connections with the business, education and government media. The Nottingham-based PR agency handles communications campaigns across the logistics, engineering, further education, hospitality and life sciences sectors.
