Wear It Pink Day 28th October 2011 – Breast Cancer Campaign

What is Wear it Pink Day?

Wear it pink day is Breast Cancer Campaign’s biggest fundraising event. It took place this year on Friday 28th October and participants wore something pink and donated £2 to Breast Cancer Campaign – it’s as simple as that to help save lives!

Gem Vending are proud to support this great cause and both office based employees and field operatives took part in Wear it Pink Day with the aim of raising as much money as possible for this fantastic charity. Wear it Pink Day!

In addition, the Board of Directors very generously agreed that they would match whatever amount was raised by staff to double the final donation.

All employee’s wore pink for the day in return for a £2 donation. Those who didn’t ‘wear it pink’ made their contribution by buying a ‘Wear it Pink’ sticker.

The week leading up to ‘Wear it Pink Day’ staff held a cake sale and competitions to help boost the donations.

The total raised by Gem Vending Ltd for Breast Cancer Campaign was a marvellous £250!!

“The breast cancer campaign is very close to our hearts at Gem Vending and I am delighted with the generous response from our team. Thank you…..”
